Also heard greenshank and common sandpiper alarm calling, lots of splashing in the river but no clue of what was spooking them / making the splashes, but suspect otter or mink. No sign of osprey today.<br /><br />Trip to Dorset was great; 5 of 6 reptiles seen, Dartford warbler, hornet in the car and clouded yellow on the cliff top.
